The play-off’s are sucking! I’m off hockey! I’m going to the Grand Canyon! Seriously, I’m hitting the road in the morning. Not that one thing has anything to with the other but I’m hoping I’m far away when the Avs, my last chance for happiness this season, get eliminated. Anyway, I will be adding the Grand Canyon to the list of Natural Wonders and National Monuments I’ve visited (and a few international ones). I’ll compile a complete list in my head during my TWELVE HOUR DRIVE, and I’ll include that when I post an entry about how Grand or less than grand this alleged “canyon” really is. That’s what I always find interesting… How things measure up to my expectations. For example, Statue of Liberty - much smaller than you’d think; The Eiffel Tower - much, MUCH, huger than expected; Niagara Falls - just about right. Then again, I have rather unrealistic expectations for how large things should be. And that’s all I’m gonna say about that.
