The Thrill of Victory – Again!
“Mar-tan – the – Man” has done it again! With a little help from the rest of the Devils, aka “The Machine,” aka “The Borg,” He brought home Lord Stanley’s Cup for the 3rd time in 9 years! Hockey is so damn cool! [Even if a little less exciting now due to the big void left by Patrick's retirement. Yes.. tears were shed, but I'm trying to be mature about it. Which won't be nearly as hard this summer as it will be as soon as the Avs take the ice with his replacement, yet TBA, as if he could ever be replaced.]
But the question is.. What now?
Well, it’s Cirque du Soleil week on Bravo, which is tres’ entertaining – I love those circus freaks!
The new season of The Amazing Race is underway and as fast-paced as ever.
Crime & Punishment, the real-life Law & Order, is also back. I was very happy about that.
And least but not last, “For Love or Money,” NBC’s less doofussie answer to Joe Millionaire with a twist that’s sure to make the female participants look like even bigger gold-digging, bimbo, ass clowns (I stole that last one from m). So at least my TiVo will have something to do during the long hot endless months of summer.
