holy pay cut batman! i am totally blown away! i could not be more shocked! this is like the biggest thing to happen EVER! Paul Kariya & Teemu Selanne have signed with the Avalanche! that is UNBELIEVABLE! but actually there is something more shocking - the amount of money they have agreed to play for next season. pocket change! their combined salary will be 3 million short of what Paul alone was making per season. i have to take back every bad thing i’ve ever said about paul. things like “fucking over-paid passionless hypochondriac primadonna waste-of-talent!” i’m willing to admit when i’m wrong. i was not wrong, however, when i made jokes about Paul & Teemu being a little chummier than your average hockey players. things like calling them “the wonder twins.” it’s a little strange - but a little cute. oh my god! speaking of cute.. i’m definitely gonna see Paul & Teemu at the mall (together of course)!
i think from now on i’ll call them the dynamic duo, because i have seen them play together and when they are on their game they are nothing short of dynamic. and with my friend, joey, and peter (forsberg) still in the line up, they should change the name of the team to the Colorado All Stars! they should be unstoppable (key word - should)!
