so, what prompts this unprecedented posting just one day after a previous posting? the forecast. it was literally 70 degrees today and we’re supposubly expecting snow tomorrow! how rediculous is that?! did i mention that winter was cancelled in denver this year? it’s really quite depressing for those of us who appreciate a change of season. it has literally snowed three times this winter, no more than three inches each time. one other time, in december i think, it was 70 then two days later it was like 17 and snowing. but with the ground staying warm it melts as fast as it falls. we can see snow, it’s quite close actually because in the mountains in the meantime they are having record-breaking snowfall!! we went up to breckenridge last weekend to see for ourselves, and go sledding, and they are not messing around. that’s an audi under there! so at least we can drive to winter wonderland. but still, wtf?! it’s denver for chrissake! we are supposed to have snow! we have actually had some pretty serious brushfires already - i fear for the summer, the long, sweltering summer. at least there will be the drive in (i will get back to that at some point).ps: 4 days to the sopranos! pss: don’t ask me why the images i post are so dinky. they don’t start out that way. this new blog set up is apparently too complicated for me.
