No, YOU Shut Up!

Little Zippy

So, i’m on my way to work today, fortunately i don’t have to be there til 10:30 or sometimes noon so no rush hour hassles for me. i was just a few miles from home and i was thinking ‘maybe i should take my car to Harry’s after work today.’ Harry is my mechanic and he was going to fix the blower on my car’s heater - a/c at no charge because he fixed it before when it wasn’t working. it was just a loose wire so he only charged like $35 bucks, but it apparently came loose again so he said when i have time, bring it back and he’ll fix it with new wiring this time so it stays fix and no charge. of course the day it broke the first time it was like seven degrees, but since breaking the second time it has stayed pretty mild. now however, since we only have two seasons here it has already changed from winter to summer and soon it will feel like we are just south of the sun so i’m going to need that blower to at least move around the warm air.

wait.. hold everything, christ on a cracker!! it’s a woot off!!…

..five days later. no, the woot off did not last five days, it lasted just less than two days, but you see i’m easily distracted and it takes a long time for me to get back on track (actually, that usually doesn’t happen at all).

so anyway… long story short, just as i was thinking about taking my car to the mechanic, Little Zippy (that’s what i call my car) went caput. :( poor thing. tho some would contend you have to expect that in a 15 year old car with 235 THOUSAND miles on it!! but hey, hondas are built to last. i would never buy anything other than a japanese auto, unless it was a corvette, or maybe a mini cooper, oooh, or i would really love to have a smart car (the body is designed by Swatch you know), but i digress. so then a very polite version of K-fed towed Little Zippy away as i wondered why don’t my powers work for good as well as evil. like, why can’t i just happen to be thinking ‘hmm.. maybe i should buy a lottery ticket’, when i stumble across a big bag of cash (or at least enough to pay for a new distributor for Little Zippy).
