I had an exceptionally bad, bad day at the office today. When I got home I was heating up some left overs and turned on the tv. And what did I find on prime time network television?… “Rockstar Supernova,” I rolled my eyes and changed the channel to “The One,” I don’t even know what that is but I’m pretty sure it’s an American Idol knock-off - doesn’t get much worse than that, but wait.. on the American Idol channel was “So you think you can dance,” which I’m pretty sure is worse, then last and possibly least, “America’s Got Talent,” a glorified “Gong Show.” Wtf??! When did this happen? No wonder my Tivo has nothing to do! I’m not even watching the few shows I selected for summer, “Treasure Hunters” was more effective than a prescription sleep aid, “Saved”… well I just had no idea what was going on most of the time, and “Windfall” I still watch but only while I’m doing other stuff, like blogging or vacuuming. Oh, but I am really invested in “Last Comic Standing,” and yes I know, that’s another one of those reality/talent shows, but damn they’re funny! I love Josh Blue and only this week found out he’s from Denver! Maybe we can go see him. I’m pretty confident he’s gonna win. Anyway, with nothing nothing nothing to watch, there was really only one way to fix my day…

We went to “Superman Returns” for the 7th time, and yes it was even better the seventh time around! Ok, maybe it wasn’t better but it was just as good. Thank you, Superman!

It’s the Sesame Street Terror Alert meter! And it really does feed from the official, Homeland Security, color-coded business! Oscar = Green, Cookie Monster=Blue, Bert=Yellow, Ernie=Orange, and obviously Elmo is bad news!!
I thought it was hysterical!!
