well the day has finally come… yes it may be another PR stunt like androgynous babies, etc. but regardless, the paperwork has begun, and lawyers have started billing hours. yes that’s right it’s official… after two years and two kids, britney has filed for her second divorce!! (and she’s not even 25 folks!)

that’s right, Britney & Kevin Federline have split! and it’s not just a rumor this time - for a few hours today it was actually a headline on yahoo news & msnbc.com!

so the most we can hope for is that he now just fades away - cause i guarantee, she’s not goin’ anywhere! but hey, getting rid of him is big - just think, there will be no more pics of Kfed like this one.

late breaking news

in what is bigger news than today’s elections.. it is already being speculated that the divorce papers are in fact just a ploy to not only get media attention, but to scare her would-be estranged husband straight. let’s hope this is just an ugly rumor because this is generating some fabulous buzz! for example, on the superficial they posted this:

Britney is waiving her right to spousal support. She’s also asking the judge to make each party pay their own attorney’s fees, which means when they show up in court Britney is gonna have her expensive celebrity lawyer and K-Fed is gonna have half a hot dog because he couldn’t afford the rest.

Britney also gives the date of separation as yesterday, which is the same day she showed up on David Letterman’s show looking oddly good. I don’t want to imply Kevin Federline was the cancer in this relationship, but if we still remember who this guy is in 6 months it’ll be a testament to how far we’ve fallen as a society.
