( in case you haven’t been paying attention, that acronym stands for A Week In The Life Of My Tivo) Welcome to day three.. but this is weird, my tivo doesn’t do anything on tuesdays, neither of them.

Oh wait, i know why, because i canceled my season pass to “boston legal,” just couldn’t take the allie mcbeal-ness. Well tonight it’s ok because we had lots going on last night so we hadn’t watched studio 60 or 2.5 men yet, so there was still plenty for the tivo to play. then we caught something live that i had been wanting to see. douche bag dog the bounty hunter addressing / explaining the issue of his felony arrest for ironically jumping fucking bond. i just wanted to see how many mixed metaphors it was going to take for braniac to talk his way out of this one. sadly, just like every other episode their side of the story was grossly exaggerated and dramatized and 100% full of shit. and ok, once and for all, here’s what drives me absolutely, totally, violently insane about the whole douche bag dog phenomena… the constant clamoring, mostly by the chapmans themselves, that dog’s a hero, dog’s fighting crime, and dog’s taking criminals off the street. why can’t any body hear me when i say, NO HE’S NOT YOU LEMMINGS!! he’s doing the exact opposite! he’s putting criminals ON the street AFTER they have already been arrested. if his wife hadn’t posted bond for them, these criminals would be IN JAIL!! they are not fighting crime they are making money, not to mention making a scene.

however as irritating as it fucking was to see them make no apologies and no admission of their own douche baggery, it was totally worth watching to hear beth and her boobs tell dwayne lee to “turn there by that peduh-strain sign.” “where?” he asked. “after the peduh-strain sign,” she repeated getting nasty, as she will do, until he said, “that’s PEDESTRIAN.” HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

“WHATEVER!” she said. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

yet sadly i feel no satisfaction when they prove how right i am about how stupid they are so i just can’t subject myself to it anymore.
