with the current grey’s anatomy blockade, i only needed the one tivo to record…

“csi” - the original is still the best, but that’s not sayin’ much since miami & NY are crap! when grey’s moved to thursdays this season csi moved to the upstairs tivo, but at least for the time being it has been promoted. and this week’s episode was much better than i could have expected with william petersen (aka, grissom, the best character on any csi) on hiatus. liev schreiber is actually doing a pretty good job maintaining some quirkiness and comic relief. but let me expound for a moment on csi katherine willows (aka, marg helgenhooker) a few weeks ago she was being a bad ass trying to catch a killer and she went to talk to a guy who was in prison for murder. i had been commenting on how hooker-ish she looked in what she was wearing at the crime scene, but then she showed up at the prison in some god-awful, ugly blouse, and i thought it was odd that they had her change clothes. but then she goes to meet with the inmate guy and sits down behind the glass and picks up the phone and before he really even protests her interrogation she says, “this is how it’s going to work, i’m going to ask you questions and every time you answer with the truth, i’m going to unbutton one of my buttons.”

whaaaaaat?!! are ya kiddin’ me? i’m no feminist, but excuse me??! way to set back women in law enforcement - and strippers! as in “once a stripper, always a stripper” (remember katherine used to be a stripper). i was really, really pointlessly annoyed. i can’t believe they wrote that in. - whatever, morons!!

“er” - wasn’t on this week, but that’s ok because i’ve covered my feelings on this issue more than once. if goran would get himself on another show i could relieve my tivo of the burden of this crap and the extra effort required to fast forward most anything that goran is not in and absolutely every scene with pratt in it - ugh. it is soooooo bad!

“the daily show” & “the colbert report” were priceless tho - sooo funny.

(hmmm.. this AWITLOMT project hasn’t been nearly as fun and interesting as i had envisioned. but i refuse to cover the paris hilton storage space scandal, so i’m gonna have to stick with it.)
