on wednesday there were new episodes of three shows! that never happens - it was like it was my birthday or something. of course it was only because survivor was on wednesday this week instead of thursday, plus one of the shows was LOST, so it’s not like it was three good shows, but still.

then thursday… nothin’. but that’s because Grey’s Anatomy is Dead to Me! that’s right.. they’ve been On Notice since before Isaiah Washington went to rehab and got cured of being an asshole, and since before i even had an “On Notice” list. but i saw a preview that had me very confused and i read a “recaplet” on televisionwithuotpity.com that made me soooo glad i don’t watch it anymore! here are the highlights, plus a couple interjections from me in [ ]’s:

So, it’s some period of time after Meredith had her near-death experience and her mother died… Cristina’s med school professor / Cristina’s med school lover [played by Robin Colcord who could be like her grandfather's med school professor] has arrived. Which opens Cristina up for all kinds of mockery and throws Burke into a jealous tizzy. Apparently, the fact that Cristina once had a thing with another heart surgeon makes Burke question her love for him, placing their engagement in jeopardy. … Finally, Alex has moved into Meredith’s house, [because everyone else has so why not] causing Izzie to feel awkward and uncomfortable. And George finally discovers that the reason Callie [who he apparently married just 3 episodes ago] can afford to live in a fancy hotel on her resident’s salary is that she’s an heiress. This naturally leads to a fight between the two of them, and she kicks him out of the hotel. He runs back to Meredith’s to do some drinking and get some consolation from Izzie. And console him she does, as they wake up naked and in bed together.

are you kiddin’ me?! what kind of crap is that? it’s like a Daytime soap! they just need to have meredith sleep with alex and callie to sleep with mcdreamie and i think the circle will be complete. oh wait then george should sleep with addison and dr. bailey.

i knew it was only a matter of time until the show went downhill, i just never thought it would completely crash and burn in a matter of months. boy, do i feel justified.
