No, YOU Shut Up!

ON NOTICE!

April 3rd, 2007 by g

cinderella twin drive in is officially ON NOTICE! they didn’t even RE-ARRANGE the crappy movies from last week for this weekend! i was reminded that this is how it was going at the end of last season.. i don’t think we went for like the last six weeks. come on you losers - it’s bad enough that you’re going to be showing gay pirates part III, for half the summer!!

by the way, “children of men” wasn’t terrible but i have no idea why it got such great reviews. it was like they made a movie based one one chapter in the middle of a long book. there is no explanation as to why things got so post-apocalyptic, what happened to all the other cities. and more importantly, now what? will women start getting knocked up again or is this one poor girl going to have to assume sole responsibility for that job. anyway, i don’t think i got it.

“pursuit of happyness” on the other hand was fantastic! you go, little fresh prince, jr!

meanwhile, on cable week before last was “friends with money” in which jennifer aniston played a pathetic, pot-smoking loser stalking her ex. last week “rumor has it” premiered in which jennifer aniston played a pathetic, boozy loser, who slept with a guy who (a) she first thought might be her father and (b) even if he wasn’t her father, he did sleep with her mother & grandmother (ehww), and (3) was played by kevin costner (Ehwwww!). and this week, or maybe next, “the break-up” premiers in which jennifer aniston plays a really bitchy, pathetic loser. i know angelina has played some pretty cheesy roles, and bradley did patch boomhauer’s voice on king of the hill for chrissake! but jennifer, honey, did you see “babel” or “seven years in tibet”; or “gia” or “the good shepherd”? i’m just sayin’ unless you wanna be rachel green for the rest of your life you may want to be more selective about your roles.

anywhoo… since we are STILL not going to the drive in, this weekend’s rentals will probably be “casino royale” - i hear it’s the best bond movie ever (we’ll see), and maybe “the good shepherd” (i didn’t say I had seen it) or maybe “rocky balboa” or maybe “blood diamond.” i’ll decide on the fly. or maybe i’ll get them all to help pass the time until sunday night and “the sopranos“!!

ps: i miss brandon.

Okay… My reviews if its worth it… Rocky Balboa… I have neutral feelings bout that film… Blood Diamond… exciting and well acted… worth watching… Casino Royale… being a person who has NEVER liked James Bond flicks I guess this was okay… probably worth seeing if only to be able to say you saw it… I’ll watch Good Shepard tonight… bummer about the Drive-In… can’t you contact the manager and complain?
