wusses! i’m pretty sure we’ve been there when it was less than 26 degrees. of course it is raining/snowing/sleeting out too, but still.. remember the drive in is about the experience! anyway, i say serves ‘em right for trying to keep kylie out (and for having such sucky movies)!

in the meantime, i’ve been watching:

The Good Shepherd - one word… zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (sorry angie. but it wasn’t your fault)

Casino Royale - i’ve always been a so-so james bond fan, i’ve seen lots of ‘em, i usually like them, but i can pretty much take ‘em or leave ‘em. but i have to say, i thought it rocked! i didn’t think this blue-eyed, blonde haired, bloke could pull it off but he was actually quite a bad-ass bond! it was a lot more…. visceral i think is the word i want to use. anyway, it was pretty cool!

Rocky Balboa - still watching it while i type, rocky just got up again in round 10! Ro-cky-Ro-cky-Ro-cky-Ro-cky! to my surprise it has the magic of the first two. you can’t help but root for the old guy, who wasn’t too bright before he started getting hit in the head for a living.! bottom line, it’s a good movie.

Blood Diamond - two words, white guilt. glad i don’t have any diamonds, i don’t even have any diamoniques or diamonelles! yes, i was aware that there have been decades of genocide in the name of jewelry, but like most americans until there’s a movie about it just doesn’t really affect me. it is really good, and i really like that djimon guy.
