No, YOU Shut Up!

OMG we are never going to get to go to the drive in

they didn’t even have to make a no pets policy to keep us out, they just keep running crappy and/or inconvenient movies. this week cinderella twin has spiderman 3 on one screen and shrek 3 on the other - yikes! no thanks! 88 drive in has shrek also, and (a) never got the shrek thing, i mean it was ok, buttt.. (b) we have not forgotten what it was like to go to the drive in when “cars” was playing. it’s your basic nightmare.

so this weekend we’ll be watching a collection of new action/thrillers on dvd. and we’re watching them in order from worst rating to best according to rottentomatoes.com.

3. “the hitcher” with a rating of 20% from critics, 49% from users. that’s not atypical for a horror flick.

2. “alpha dog” with a rating of 56% from critics & 57% from users - rarely are the two scores that close. i’m embarrassed to admit i’ve been sooooo looking forward to this movie. i actually heard the jesse james hollywood story on dateline years ago and thought it was way too stupid to be taken seriously. apparently i was wrong. all these f’ing stories about over-indulged white kids are just ridiculous. we saw a movie on cable recently, i think it was called “havoc,” with sweet little anne hathaway rooming around like a complete hooker the whole time, trying to join a latino street gang. it was surreal. and i don’t care how neglectful their parents are you will never make me pity poor little american rich kids.

1. “the dead girl,” critic rating 75%, user rating 85%, but i’ve never heard of it. but with that title, how can it be bad?

well, if it is you’ll hear it here first!

btw, for next weekend, i’m planning a total chick flick festivus! it’s memorial day weekend and pirates will be out so i can tell you now that the drive in is out! so i’m going to start with that new sydney bristow movie, and the new dianne keaton movie, and take it from there.
