so i’ve been staring at this blank page for about 5 minutes wondering what to post about - summer reality, tv which is quite irritaining; the saga that is the story of my new car, which i’m still not really prepared to delve into; the fact that the schedules at both drive ins this weekend leave something to be desired; more of my cool stuff, because you have got to see my “spiderman 3 bug vac”; bastardino & polepettina, because we haven’t checked in on them in a long time; there is soooo much to blog about (and relatively so little time), but all i can think of is that maybe i should change the name of my blog…

btw, “BLOG” was just voted the second most irritating word spawned by the Internet! which reminded me that my very first post ever, was about how much i hated the term “blog”! Here’s the first sentence of my first post ever:
Who are these obnoxious people posting on-line diaries or “Blogs” as I understand they’re commonly called? Why do they presume that other people are interested in the uninteresting details of their little lives?

hmmm… anywhooo in case you’re wondering the most hated word is something i’ve never even heard which seems ironic (i think you could call that ironic unlike the very predictable rain on your wedding day), “folksonomy”, a term for a web classification system, which is apparently only used by super-geeks which is apparently who they polled for this list.

ok, where was i… oh yes, all i can think of is how my BLOG (if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em) should probably be hurricaneglenda.com rather than princessglenda.com. and if you had been around this week you would know why i say that. i’m often like this big destructive force and it’s completely unintentional, plus i typically leave quite a mess in my wake, which is again unintentional. so i think hurricane glenda may be much more appropriate.

i’ll get back to the rest of it later. right now i have to drive to boulder to pick up my laptop that i’m being charged twice as much as estimated, to have 1/3 of the requested repairs done. grrr….

hey, i just noticed that spell check now accepts “blog”! it’s probably in the dictionary now too, so you’re just going to have to deal with it bitches!
