so first thing this morning on the news they reported that the sale of the property where the cinderella ghetto drive in resides, did in fact go through. so it’s no longer speculation or conjecture, this saturday will be their final showing and soon the whole place will be bulldozed. but did i shed a tear, or even let out a sigh?..  are you kidding?? it barely even registered in my ears that our favorite summer hang out for the past three years is going to be wiped off the map, because the previous story was that a familiar face is going to be “popping up” in colorado soon…

JACK IS BACK!! (or soon will be) Jack In The Box that is! According to the Rocky Mountain News,  “The first restaurant is slated to open in Golden this November, followed early next year by a second in Arvada.”

i swear i heard angels singing!! you must understand, we have planned entire road trips around going to JITB, and it has gotten increasingly difficult to come up with reasonable excuses to go to las cruces, new mexico or st george, utah. i was afraid we were going to have to take kylie to see the st louis arch! [and if you don't get it, or you don't even like jack in the box, just spare me, and try to imagine if you lost permanent access to your favorite simple pleasure in life, and go find somebody else's parade to rain on.]

we are very, very excited!! first i think i’ll have a chicken fajita pita! and oooh a chocolate shake! and maybe some egg rolls, and possibly a stomach ache, but it will be worth it! so now you know what i want for christmas people.. jack cash!!
